MS. Math Middle School Math Lessons BY GIRLS

Middle School Math Lessons BY GIRLS

WELCOME!

My name is Julia De Hart and I created this website for my Girl Scout Gold Award.

This is a website dedicated to teaching young students math basics and encouraging them to explore careers in math and science.

To learn more about myself, the website, or the Gold Award process, click "About."

To view the math lessons, choose the topic of interest from the drop down menu under "Lessons."

To learn about important and accomplished women in STEM careers (science, technology, engineering, and math) click "STEM Women."

And to provide feedback about your experience using my website, suggestions to make it better, or questions about myself or the Gold Award, please feel free to do so on the "Feedback" page above.

I would like to thank Davis Lester for donating his video producing and editing services to help make this project possible.

I would also like to thank Kathie Yonemura for advising me throughout this process. She is a 4th grade teacher and a Girl Scout leader. If you are a teacher or are interested in other teaching methods and ideas you can check out her blog at http://triedandtrueteachingtools.blogspot.com/

Thank you to Girl Scouts for giving me this amazing opportunity to affect society in this way and for motivating me along my journey. I have many years of fantastic experiences and moments to attribute to my participation in Girl Scouts. I suggest girls to join because it is a unique experience and will help strengthen many important and useful qualities that will help you succeed in the real world.
